BTW, did you get the go-ahead from RCK? Don't worry, Sensi. The final versions will be single colours. That one was just an experiment. |

True
At the moment the image has 55 different layers which create the full image and until I get the go ahead from RCK, I can't merge them down to the minimum 11 layers that are required to create all the CD covers. The current file size is nearly 60Mb but when in Photoshop it's using considerably more and is causing a few glitches with my system. Photoshop can be memory hungry at times, especially when you have tonnes of layers |

@All
What format should I save them as, .PNG (4.18Mb) against .JPG (3.40Mb) both @ 3189 x 2185. Obviously .PNG being the favourite, I just wanted to know what you guys thought as some DVD cover programs don't support .PNG. Of course I will crop them to a more realistic size for printing when I save them in one of the above formats. |

Lossless = PNG If someone needs it in JPG format he can convert it later.

Bad News!
I've got a bit of bad news, Photoshop crashed before whilst saving the main .PSD file I can't access it at the moment, it's saying it's an invalid file format.
Now, if my memory serves me right, I should be able to find it again somewhere in the temp folder as it should still be there as Photoshop didn't close properly. Wish me luck |

It should be in the folder where you tried to save it with a 'tmp' extension. Fingers crossed And make daily backups from now on

Sorry TCD but it's not there
Got it Phew! It was stored in 'Documents and Settings\ME\Local Settings\Temp' Ooooh! I'm clever , I think Thank heavens I never restarted Photoshop 'cause the restart would of wiped off the old Photoshop.temp files. I'm glad I do things in a logical way, sometimes I have now created a manual backup of the file and I will do this from now on with files of that size + qty of layers, that put a strain on my poor peecee Edit: Wrong Should of tried the damn thing before posting again. Apparently the temp file is not re-storable as a .PSD but, I've found what I think is the same file for upload to EAB, and accidental save in .PSD instead of .PNG for ImageShack and it looks exactly the same as what I can see here Last edited by DH; 02 June 2009 at 14:11. |

I've created the DH Logo and I'll be adding a smaller version, without the word 'PROOF', somewhere on the cover
btw. I'll be adding this to any and all artwork/wallpapers that I create in future + I'll be re-doing the wallpapers that I have already done sometime in the future Hope you guys like it, as it's better than finding space for the word 'DemonHellraiser' as this is a little to big and boring Last edited by DH; 02 June 2009 at 19:56. |

Hi DH,
I've almost got the lists completed for upload tonight! Just a quick bit of Googling while I'm online to pick up the few bits I'm missing and they'll be ready. BTW, I have found Aminet CDs 1-49 and the Aminet Games CD. Does anyone know if there are any others? prowler |

Hi DH,
Here's the complete set of listings for Aminet CDs 1-52 (I found three more!) and the special edition Aminet Games CD. All the Aminet CDs include the new additions to Aminet since the last CD, so the structure of the Aminet directory is pretty much the same for the whole series. Most of the series contain special features like full versions or special editions of commercial programs, or collections of music modules, pictures, clip art or animations. However, some are so full of the latest Aminet additions, that there is no room for anything else, and where this is the case I have listed just the standard Aminet directiories. I am fairly sure there's nothing important missing, but if you have any questions regarding this, you know where I am. prowler Last edited by prowler; 03 June 2009 at 00:03. Reason: Added detail |
