Gloom 3 on stock CD32

Despite of the game´s quality: Did anybody manage to get this to work on a stock CD32? I´ve tried some things so far but the game always resets after the options menu.

Not sure if you're still interested but I think I've got it going (still testing) - try replacing the "sfxs" folder with the one from Gloom Deluxe.

Happened to read that last week:

If you play this on CD32+FDD (without RAM expansion):
You have to load from "gloom" program disk which you have already removed "dragon.bin" from "sfxs" drawer,
when you try episode5 (you cannot load 4th stage due to lack of CD32's chip RAM).
In addition, you have to load from "gloom" program disk and use Disk2 which you have already removed all files
from "pics" drawer, when you try episode6&7&8 (you also cannot load 5th stage of episode7 due to lack of RAM...).
On the other hand, don't forget copy "dragon.bin" to "sfxs" drawer of Disk1 again.
The difficulty which you try episode6,7 and 8 without continues are 5 stars.

And HOL states:

[4] Despite containing an optimised CD32 version, the GLOOM 3 CD won't boot on a basic CD32 (due to the absence of the 'CD32.TM' trademark file). However, the game can be executed from a CLI/shell if you attach a keyboard to the CD32 and 'boot with no startup-sequence' from the early startup menu (hold down the red and blue buttons on a joypad OR both buttons on a mouse plugged into joy port 2).

Thanks HardStep! That's a very interesting page and it'll be most helpful with my compilation project.
