Are there any working cracks of Benefactor?

I've tried every crack of Benefactor I can find but they all seem to have the same problem.

When entering a password that will take you to a level that requires a different disk the game requests the disk but after that nothing happens.

The WHDload version seems to work fine, but I'd really like to find an ADF version that works too.

These are the ones I've tried (on a A1200):

Maybe try using only DF0:, without external DF1:

Thanks but that wasn't the answer, I have no other drives plugged in. I found a method that works for me so far (at least for disk 2, not tried disk 3). Is to use my A600 with Kickstart 1.3 and the 2nd disk then loads okay.

to prevent headaches with cracks u can play the cd32 version of benefactor, it have better music

Just tried my old disk version (which is also the Classic crack) and it worked. I picked one of the "Stones & Bones" levels which then forced me to insert disk 2. The level flawlessly loaded and started. Tested on my A1200. You can find images of my disks in the Zone.

So, I'll just "bump" this as it's sorta related.

I'm playing Benefactor on my A1200 via floppies made from .add files. Everything seems to be working fine accept I can't enter a password and because of this everything I play, I have to start over.

Am I missing something? I mean I highlight `password' hit the joystick button and nothing. I start typing, tried moving right to highlight the already populated password and nothing.

I'd really like to continue playing, but don't want tostart over everytime.

Highlight 'PASSWORD' then move the stick 1x to the right then up/down to change the 1st letter then again to the right for the next letter and so on. It's a bit confusing since the letter in question is not highlighted and you have to figure out where you are.

Cool, I'll try it tonight again.

It probably worked the whole time and because it didn't highlight, I thought nothing was happening.

Well, that was simple and as a matter of fact, it was SO Simple I'm certain it wasn't doing that before I posted this, because after moving to the right, I noticed I was able to change the letters right away.

Just to prove I'm not crazy, I even mentioned doing so in my first post.
