Fantastic. a pleasure to look at your pictures Tommes.
You have a lot of patience. We want more pictures Do you have any 3D models that you want to share with us? (Without innards) I'm a little lazy when it comes to modeling, but rendering and texturing is fun (Well, actualy; I've started modeling an Amiga 500) Regards, Raymond |

@Jack-3d
Nice one. Did you use something like 'global illumination'? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_illumination I think thats what makes Tommes light setup look better. If your app doesn't have such a feature you can still use a 3 point light setup. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-point_lighting |

Its a Elbox Winner tower or sometimes called E/Box. I would say the best A1200 tower kit and perfect for any A1200 upgrades (compatible with any busboard: Mediators, G-Rex, Micronik Z2/Z3i, ...).
@Tommes: I just recently moved from LW9 to 11 and all is pretty new for me. Once I collect questions I will ask you for sure ;o))) I just need to know what I am capable to find out on the google and youtube ;o) |

I love the last picture of the A1200. Nice one. Great Angel/Camera placement.
Was sitting a bit in photoshop to make the picture in retro look. ended up with the attached picture (My new wallpaper) Hope it is okay that I played a little bit Tommes? (The HiRes version of the picture is to large uploading here at EAB, so i down-scaled it to keep it just here at EAB) |

These renders are brilliant. Please keep them coming!!
I remember, many years ago, running a render farm consisting of 4 Amigas (2xA500, 1xA600, 1xA1200). I basically used it to make images and 3d animated titles for small business near where I used live - photographers and video companies seem to make the brunt of the client base. Once the A1200 had finished rendering I would simply record the playback onto VHS video. It was REALLY basic, and the quality was shocking. Luckily I had very little competition! I used Imagine back then for everything, with some tidying up in DPaint. Now, when I look at these renders I can see (i) how far things have moved on, and (ii) how utterly useless I was at rendering! Great pic, and great subject matter. |

I just love the texturing work you do, Tommes. The detail on the display's dot pitch, the texture is perfect. Really love that attention to detail.

This I made in 2008:
And this in 2009: It supposed to be a big project to make models of all Amigas including all characteristic equipment and stuff, but I havent work on it since 2010. But when I see what Tommes can do, I feel new motivation to continue ;o) |
