Superfrog Loading

Hi

Does anybody recall the disk loading sequence for Superfrog.

Four disks, but I seem to recall you did not start with disk one

I ask because I know my set here is OK but cannot seem to get it to work.

Once I got the disk sequence right and still does not work I can then look
into the settings.

Thanks.

Game Disk 1 is what you want for loading straight into game. There is a Story Disk you can load up if you want to see the intro.

Hi

OK, thanks.

I knew there was something I was thinking of, I found this.

When the usual insert disk prompt appears you can insert either the story
disk or game disk 1.

Inserting game disk 1 will load the game straight away, missing out the
introductory animation.

I think disk 4 was the story disk.

So now I will go sort out my setup, thanks.

The original came on 3 disks, so I assume that you use a *cough* backup version None of the other disks (2-4) is marked as bootable, so I assume that you can only start the game from disk 1 (haven't checked that yet though).

Sure?
I remember disk 3 to be the intro disk in the 4-disked scene release (CRYSTAL).

Seemingly I was right, confirmed by this 10(!)-year-old post.
