Settlers copyright problem when loading
Hi, I’m having bother loading settlers,it’s getting to the bit where you have to enter the symbols from the book ( copyright bit) but there’s no mouse cursor on the screen to select the different icons, even tried every key on the keyboard, and I’ve also Swoped mouse ports, but still nothing, I’ve have even bought another copy of settlers and still the same problem, Any ideas ????

Is this on real machine or emulated?
If emulated - what emulator and on what host? |

Settlers requires that the game is run in PAL. Will not run in NTSC. Try forcing PAL on boot. I remember having issues with it years ago. I can't remember where in the loading it crashed.

He does not have a crash but no mouse cursor to get past the copy-protection screen.

That’s correct , its not crashing , but I have no cursor to select the icons ??

Are you loading via floppy, hard drive or WHDLoad?

How much memory do you have on Amiga and what model? More info is needed.

I had a similar problem on the A500 mini in any case, just couldn't get the mouse to work.
