Beta 8:

- plain executable mounted as a harddrive automatically creates virtual s/startup-sequence (same as mounting executable as a floppy)
- possible crash fix in SCSI emulation
- X-Power Professional 500 cartridge support. (basically old version of Action Cartridge Super IV) ROM in the zone.
- Nordic Power cartridge "support" but only 2 bad non-working rom dumps available (ROM chip fault, one data line stuck) And perhaps suprisingly, perhaps not, Nordic Power is old version of X-Power
- possible fix for audio problems when using audio.device (usually when continuously starting and stopping short samples) in JIT mode. (usual reason: too "fast" cpu/chipset access speed..)
- removed sound latency value from GUI, it was wildly inaccurate

I didn't try the last beta (b8) but b7 didn't solve my problem.. some roms still reported as unavailable... do you want the crc of my roms?
Another thing.. when I change the lib (rtg.library), my workbench don't detect uaegfx anymore.. just NTSC and PAL low and high res..

CRC32 and size (in bytes) of nondetected roms. (that were detected previously)

Perhaps something conflicting in startup-sequence, some wrong version library or something. "works fine here", unfortunately..

It came with beta 7 zip (you sure you used beta7 because beta 7 was first to have that message..)

Please, read changelogs more carefully next time

Ok. Here we go... as you can see the rom 3.1 is detected in the System ROM Settings but it is not available to A1200. Is that right? The rom 3.5 don´t show up anywhere..

That version of the 3.1 ROM that you have is for A500/A600/A2000 (see the entry in the dropdown list), not for the A1200. You'll need either 3.1 ROM A1200 with CRC32 1483a091, 3.0 ROM A1200 CRC32 6c9b07d2 or 3.1 ROM A4000 (Cloanto) CRC32 43b6dd22 for it. Since there was no official 3.5 ROM, WinUAE doesn't detect it with ROM scanning (it's not included in the list with ROMs to search for). You can use it manually by using the '...' button and selecting the ROM image file.

Edit: But there's still a bug in ROM scanner as seen with reporting that Arcadia or CDTV are available in samklein's case. It continues to search for the second batch of needed ROMs even if the first one (Arcadia BIOS ROMs or CDTV extended ROMs here) is missing. So it finds the Kickstart ROM and shows it as available.

Beta 9:

- ROM scan dialog listed "available" even if configuration required 2 ROMs (like CDTV or CD32) and only one was available.
- if fullscreen resolution is smaller than GUI size, moving mouse to screen borders moves the GUI dialog. (in future this means it is now possible to increase GUI size to 800x600 without too many complaints)
- CD32 CD audio end position detection and signaling, interrupt handling finally implemented, fixes non-looping audio tracks, (for example Brian the Lion), and games that freeze (for example Fightin' Spirit, Base Jumpers)

Nice update, Toni. Fightin' Spirit & Brian the Lion finally works properly.

Brian worked before this update, but it always freezed when your tried to use the "Restart" feature.

Hi,

I just installed the new winuae 1.4.3 beta 9 and the properties GUI won't show.
The taskbar shows that WinUAE is running, but I can't see the GUI.
I have a ati radeon x1600 pro graphics card running in 1024x768x32bits.
I'm using catalyst drivers 7.5.
All worked fine with beta 8.
I have included winuae bootlog.
Hope you can look into it.

Thanks,
Lloyd

I have the same trouble.
Wineae is running on taskbar, the gui is avialble it sits in the left upper corner of the screen, you can drag it the the center of the screen, but it will automatic return to the left upper corner.

It'ts there but you can't catch it !!!

Damn, had the Arcadia Multi select set according to the b8 but I see there was a bug that showed it even if you were missing a file.

Are the roms not the same as Mame uses? Presumed they were

They are the same as in MAME. You'll need at least Kick 1.2 and the ar_bios.zip.

Will be fixed today (used wrong function to test if fullscreen is enabled, it does not work if emulation has not been started yet..)

Also they must be in original mame compatible zipped format.
