Crack tells me to "hard reset" to clear Ram

Tried the Chronicles of Omega, and both versions just end up showing me flashy lights instead of starting. The person who cracked this mentions that "if game not runs clear ram yourself (hardreset)"(his words, not mine). How would you do a "hard reset" in winuae ?

Press F12 to open the WinUAE GUI and click "Reset" to perform a hard reset.

There are 2 awful "cracks" of Chronicles of Omega going around - Endless Piracy and another one. One is an action replay freeze job, the other allocates absolute memory and is probably the one you are using.

If you search for my cracked version, it's a 100% clean crack!

Yeah I actualy found the Flashtro version shortly afterwards. I just didn't assume more were out there because usualy they get mirrored at Snesorama.

So does this mean Winuae doesn't have a "soft" reset option ?

No. "GUI reset" = hard reset, reset using Ctrl+Windows+Windows (i.e. Ctrl-Amiga-Amiga) keys = soft reset just like on a real Amiga.
