Floppy disk CARE status

Hi,

maybe the one or other wonders what CARE is doing at this time. I was a little bit busy with an off topic project (sorry, will never happen again).
I wrote a patcher/hacker for the DSP of the MP3-USB-Stick Maxfield G-Flash Deluxe and disassembled the whole firmware. More informations on the CARE site.

The project was interesting because: Maxfield uses DSPs from SigmaTel and the SigmaTel chip is based on the Motorola 56000 and Motorola ... ? Well, you should know that...

So I hope CARE will find the way back to miggy coding in 2006...

what do you all think about new levels of Turrican 2 ?

if AmiGer would have the time i could help him...

i would give him the level/Gfx experience and he can try to do the rest...like new enemies and so on...

Instead of remixing working titles why don't you fix great classics that would need a fix under AGA and Workbench in multitasking (so no need to suspend the system with a WHDLoad version)?
-Pirates!: makes a messy saving savefile-name.
-SimCity2000: well known city's Library bug (if you click on "Ruminate" in a library an error with 'Missing TEXT 2000' appears), other bug is it freezes pressing LMB fastly on "Rename" bulding buttons.
-Colonization (I said not Civilization ): random crash generating 'New World'. Hint: you can also catch the exact byte in the exe causing the hit using MuForce.

Would be great a quick fix for these great classics to make them work fine on modern Amigas and WBs.

or making some games like Parodius, Nemesis or any others consoles games, so the problem of finding a graphic artist could be solve by ripping gfx of those games.

In fact the CARE project is in a standstill at the moment and I don't see if and when it will be continued.

@hexaae: just fixing bugs in games doesn't make fun (for me) and isn't the goal of this project, but for Pirates it's been always a challenge to e.g. create a new map for this game. Anyway if this work will be done one day I could analyze and fix the bug, too...
