If I can't do it in the new location, could you move them back to my drawer so that I can finish working on them? |

Normally this won't happen It was pure coincidence that you just had finished uploading the files and were still renaming them when I checked the folder
Anyway, it's sorted now and thanks for the upload |

checked. sadly, while i had definitely amiga byte 30 back in the day and i'm glad you have posted it, i am now positive that the game i'm looking for wasn't on any amiga byte.
i'm unsure between either Enigma Amiga disks or Amazing. possibly it could have been Amiga Club too. the year should be 1990 or 1991... but sorry i'm OT... thanks for the great upload! |

He means the EAB file server (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633). You can find the disks in the folder 'Magazine Cover Disks and CDs/Italian magazines'

To ALL you Italians out there:
does anyone happen to have Super Amiga #3? Lo' and behold ... it DOES exist, because I have a version of it (unfortunately hacked to bits, though ) That means, I have the disk and ONE game that is on the disk, "Briscola" by Eugenio Ciceri. Also (c) 1988 Digiteam. Last edited by andreas; 15 October 2009 at 01:05. |

Hi,
I've just uploaded the disk image you are looking for in the File Server (thanks TheCyberDruid!), with a lot of other Italian Magazines. You can find them all here. If someone's interested, I've also packed them all in a nice archive and loaded them on Easyshare. Hope this helps, bye! |

Hey you all,
thanks a lot for your appreciation! If I happen to find more disk images I'll be gald to add them too, and I hope others will do the same. In case you're interested, here is a (long-ish) bit of backstory. Back in 2000, I discovered a lot of initiatives to collect and preserve software of past computers, so out of enthusiasm I decided to convert to ADF a lot of Amiga disks enclosed in magazines I bought years before (Amiga Bytes in particular). During the Christmas vacations, which I was forced to spend almost entirely in bed due to a bad flu, I gathered all my patience and my old A500, and took care of it. Since no disk2fdi or adfread existed back then, I had to do it directly on my Amiga itself via a tool named Messybench, which allowed to read MSDOS disks. I can assure you that with no external drive it was a painfully long and tedious job... But in the end I obtained a whole lot of ADF files, which I neatly stored in a folder of my hard drive. Then I had a look around, and found out that something similar was done for Commodore 64 magazines, but not for the Amiga. So, the idea of "Project A" was born: a site where I could publish my material and invite other to collaborate, doing the same. Obviously, the project never started out: I was knee-deep in University studies, Internet connections were only available via 56k modems with per-minute call rates, et cetera. Nowadays, time is still scarce, but I have a DSL, and the ADF files are still sitting in my hard drive, where I put them years ago... It would have been a shame to leave them there! Thanks again, bye! |

Found and imaged a disk with Octamed 1.00b, with the Amiga Byte Logo as disk icon.
Probably modified. Anyone interested? |
