hacked star wars

Years ago I had a co[py of the old vector based star wars game, only the game had been hacked. There was an actual voice, pretending to be the on-board computer of your x-wing, and it would take every opportunity to insult you, often with very foul language.

The only thing i can remeber it saying is "Shot down" every time you shot down a tie fighter. Also at the end of each level it said something along the lines of "Luke you t*sser" or "Luke you d*ckh*ad".

I know it is no different from the original, but I still so want to find this game. I have spent hours on google with no luck. So now I come to you guys in the hope that maybe someone out there either has it, or knows where to get it.

Thanks in advance.

The Amiga copies of the Start Wars vector game I've seen were in AmigaDOS format including IFF files for the sound samples. It sounds like someone replaced those files. You could do the same if you replace a sample with another that sounds right played back at the same sample rate.

So it's unlikely that I will find a copy of the game anywhere online? A shame as I would'nt know where to start as far as replacing sound samples

Ah well, thanks for the help.

No. Sadly the disk, and the Amiga are both gone. Actually play the emulator more than the propper PC stuff though. Might be a good idea to treat myself to and easter Amiga this year, and forget about the egg for once
