Without scrumm it has full speech and sfx.... just the lame that is missing.. and yes.. the music sucks anyway.

Well this got my attention, seeming as I'm the guy who did the port
The reason there was no music in that port, was that the DOS game used MIDI files and at the time, there was no suitable softsynth on the amiga to play them, nor could we render the music to a streaming format that the amiga would be able to decode fast enough. The music was annoying anyway so we left it out To be honest, these days, i'd recommend getting the DOS/Windows version and playing it with ScummVM. |

I have Simon 1+2 original german Win95 AND DOS Versions (4 CD´s) + Win XP Patch from adventursoft homepage and Simon 1 Amiga (not AGA) original Disk Versions, so I can play Simon 1+2 without scummvm but scummvm works too. But for testing and completing it was great to have Simon 2 AGA part regards from germany andref4 |
