Hi,
I bought this card and during the first start I get following error message "Fatal error: Signal IOCHCK on the ISA-bus is shorted to GND". After reset there is no more such error message. Card is working flawlessly.
Does anyone know what this error means?
Thank you.

I'd like to know the answer to this too! I don't get this message with a Trident VGA card installed, but when I add an ATI Mach64 this message displays. Anyone know what it could mean?

Maybe the ATI card is simply not compatible.

Would be interesting to do a continuity check between IOCHCK and ground with the two cards, to see if the ATI is actually grounding that pin.

It doesn’t appear to affect operations though, everything seems to work as normal.

I'd still suggest checking it out. If it's giving that message erroneously, the driver could be patched.
