Happy If there's one remake I really want to see...

...it would be Weird Dreams in 3D. Imagine seeing your pyjama-wearing hero wander around from a perspective like WoW or Second Life and solving puzzles while avoiding poultries, bees, ballerinas and other creatures.

I also would like remakes of Nitro and ATR.

Personally I think any game remake can be worthwhile if it does something a bit different with the original game. What I don't get is remakes that are totally faithful to the original - I remember an Apidya one a while back that was exactly (and I mean exactly) the same as the Amiga version. I mean, what's the point when you can just play the original game on the emulator?

Remake of Apprentice, higher resolution, but still in 2D.

Hmmmmmm this is an interesting question....

hmmm heres a couple i cannot choose between

Alien Breed (similar to guantlet on the PS2 )

Captive ( i have some yummy things planned for this )

A Decent UFO X-com enemy unknown where its got like a blend of space hulk / ufo / aftermath

3D Road Kill
MMmmmmm 3d multi-player mayhem! with missiles and guns and all sorts

Skidmarks
Vector-bit-mapped-based Skidmarks with over 1,000 tracks 100 trophy titles and MEGA multiplayer all this combined with racing card destruction kit! (loved that game on the 64!)

2D Super Flashback!

slightlyer tastier gfx + awsome sounds by rahpel! sorta improved engine combine with great storyline!

A remake of Lost Patrol would be GREAT! That game had so much potential but due to Ocean rushing it, it's nothing more than a shell of what it should have been.

Also, Oil Imperium would be a good candidate for a remake. And Nuclear War too.

Nuclear War was a funny game.... a remake could pop Saddam Hussein or Osama in there... Kim Jong Il etc

A Mercenary remake would be nice to see. However even photorealistic graphics couldnt improve on this gem of a game

I live on that site!!! Sadly MDDClone isnt a remake. It is the original games repackaged. Thanks though

On the contrary. It is a remake since the code is made from scratch. But yes I would also like to see a next gen Mercenary Remake.

Carrier Command with online multi player mode.

There have been homebrew remakes in the pipes for a while but nothing ever released and then this website popped up from out of nowhere: www.carriercommand.com

A new version of Ruff n Tumble for AGA Amigas only. Make it full screen (320x256), more colours, parallax scrolling, save points, and a control pad option with a jump button and the ability to shoot in different directions and below while jumping (like Metal Slug). Better ammo control as well, rather than having a time limit with special weapons, have limited ammo that lasts until you use it up, maybe even weapon switching (different weapons selectable and usable once ammo for those weapons has been collected).

I also don't understand the need to do remakes of Amiga games for the PC when they can just use an emulator to play them.

I would love to see a remake of Super Obliteration - and that's why I'm making one.

Super Obliteration was a dammed fine game! A true classic! I can't wait to play your splendid-looking remake!

Please vote for Turrican in the platform game poll!
