Hmm. Clearly this is a very tricky situation and not at all clear-cut but I would say it's a no-go at this point in time simply because it is being sold. Regardless of its legality that is fact. Whether one of the other guys has a different opinion I don't know, but that's my take on it. It's not ideal and I'd like to give you a positive answer but for now I think we have to play it safe.

Thanks Graham.
A reasonable ruling under the circumstances - apologies for my ranting, I'm just a bit frustrated when I get regular requests for copies (which I'd be happy to give out) but can't post a public link because this excellent software remains in limbo... ...nobody should be selling it (regardless of what may be happening) ...it can't be called 'abandonware' because it's still being sold Catch22 |

@Charlie
Why don't you asked that yesterday then i have said nothing It's great peace of software (as you said) but how many people are going to pay that much? Original text from softhut was 'we have FEW..' so how long can it be before they are sold? @cosmicfrog The kernel is GPL so no problem with that |

Sorry tero, your news item reminded me - give me a PM.
I'd really like to put up a .iso on the EAB for public consumption but Graham has spoken so I won't. Now I've got my more reasonable head on I have to agree Graham is 100% correct - it's not worth risking the EAB. |

The most asked question about Amithlon is where to get it. But i agree too - it's not worth risking the EAB. |

just uploaded Amos TOME extension complete into Asymetrix Folder.
The other TOME extensions are just upgrades which require the original TOME to work. TOSEC/Applications/ for safe keeping. cheers |
