Changing the CrossDOS default disk icon?
Hello everbody on EAB! This is my first post...
Can you change that ugly CrossDoss icon that is used for disks inserted in PC0:. I tried using an def_PC0:.icon in the env-archive/sys folder but no good . Is there a patch or a setting to do this. I use both a real A1200 and WinUAE on XP. I use mfm.device/crossdos to read ms-dos disks (OS3.9). Hope sumone can help |

Unfortunately the default disk icon is hard coded in CrossDOS. The only way to change it is to store a real disk.info (disk.inf) file on each floppy disk.

That works fine, I dont know why I didnt just do that anyway. I had read of a hack to change the icon, but shall not bother hunting it now. Uglee icons do suck!
Thanks for the tip! |
