How to install OS 3.5 on WinUAE emulator

Hi, I am trying to install OS 3.5 on WinUAE0827 emulator (unfortunately I did not use Amiga 15 years ago so I do not remember much).
I created a hard-drive file (harddrive.hdf) and downloaded OS 3.5 (boingbag1.lzx).
I set the hard-drive file at the ‘Hard drives’ and set the OS file as DF0 ‘Disk Drive’ in WinUAE and I use Kick35.rom, CPU 68020, 256 MB fast RAM.
When I run it does not boot, it stops with ‘System Request’ as ‘Not a DOS disk in device DH0’.
What do I do wrong? How can I install OS 3.5 on my hard-drive file?
Any help is appreciated.

'boingbag1.lzx' is not Amiga OS 3.5, thats just an update (like a service pack). You need the complete CD of OS 3.5 first if you want to install it.

And the Kick35.rom is a fake. The Kickstart 3.1 is the last released one.
And 256MB seems to be a bit too much. For a normal Workbench 16MB are enough.

would it be possible to install OS3.5 on an emulator and pass it to an Amiga 1200 3.0 through a parallel connection, and then have it installed?

ie no cd rom and no 3.1 kick rom

You can transfer it but it won't run without a 3.1 rom. And you need at least 4mb fast ram.

However, if you have 3.1 roms and fast ram, you can transfer 3.5 and use it, even without cd-rom drive.
