Amiga 1000 keyb on the 4000

Hi there,

Has anyone made an adapter to use the Amiga 1000 keyboard on the A4000 (or any of the other bigbox amigas)?

It's one of the nicest keyboards I've ever used and it's a shame that I can't use it on any of my other machines.

Yes, this is totally possible to do. Match the signals carefully.

I don't think you can buy one but the protocol and electrical interface is the same across all models and I've made a really dodgy "universal" adaptor that lets me connect any keyboard to any Amiga.

Just say 4P4C modular connector instead of RJsomething for the A1000, this removes all ambiguity.

Oh, that's great! I should be able to cook something up from this. Just out of curiousity: what would you guys say is the closest cherry switch to these switches in the A1000?
I'm new to the A1000, I got mine just a couple of weeks ago and this keyboard has me all up the walls. It's amazing!
