Super Mario Kart and Kart Racing Games (Matt Chat)
Good day, gentlemen! I have posted the new Matt Chat for your viewing pleasure:
[ Show youtube player ] This one is about Super Mario Kart, but also looks at earlier classics like Pole Position, Spy Hunter, and Road Blasters. I also show some of the later kart games such as Mario Kart 64, Wacky Races, and Sonic Drift. Please enjoy, and let me know what you think of the game as well as the video. One thing that surprised me was how similar the Atari ST and Amiga versions of Buggy Boy were. I probably couldn't tell them apart! |

Old news, seen it already a couple of hours ago as I got subscription
Great as always Matt, never was a fan of Mario Karts meself, it was too flat looking (), I fell in love with Crash Team Racing on me PSX, the multiplayer mode is simply incredible with 3-4 players. Loved the way you showed all those classics before the game. Road Blasters for the NES look great. PS: Bakula? You mean Scott? Last edited by Shoonay; 18 July 2009 at 20:55. |

Nice Video Matt...
I never really liked SMK at the time - the cute characters put me off of what was actually a great game - I think at the time I had more games on my Megadrive (Genesis) than my SNES and I think I was more likely to be found playing something like Road Rash... I had never seen R.C. Pro AM for NES - I checked out another couple of YouTube Videos on the game - it was fast! Seems that Skidmarks borrowed a little from this game... also Super Off-Road I guess... I still love Skidmarks the best. Keep up the good work mate. |

Thanks for the comments, guys!
I think I will cover Deja Vu and some other Macventure/ICOM Simulations games next. I finally got my classic Mac emulator up and running. |
