Happy Knightlore wonderful PC remake is finally released !

I know a few folks had Knightlore project page bookmarked on Retrospec, but apparently, I am the only retro'er to have made a few checks this year and....

Yeeeeaaaaahhhh, baby !

It's finally done (it took P. Hanratty and his mates 4 years to complete it !).
Knightlore was one of my favorite isometric games on 8-bit computers, except I wasn't very good at it.

Note that it doesn't directly support gamepads, so using something such as Joy2Key is necessary to play that way.
Also, for some reason it crashed the first time I launched it.

Well, not much else to say except go download it to see how gorgeous it looks in action, and to indulge your ears with those eerie tunes !

If you allow me, not a flaming comment, barely a tiny sparkling one :
Always look for Retrospec for quality remakes ! Ahem... that's it .

Nod. I used to play this 20 hours in a row at a time on my mates amstrad... I could draw the map from memory and could finish the game it without dying...

a little obsessive yes ;-)

For some reason (probably because it is a very hard game) Head over Heels gets all the attention these days, but KL is definitely in the same league.

Alternately, you may get the game from my remakes of old games pack.

I joined the four parts of a Speccy walkthrough of Knight Lore made by SPINNYFUCK (pardon my French, that's the nick he has chosen on YT !), and uploaded it to my RS account (in case it might help in playing or even completing the remake).

Grab it here.
