cmon, I appreciate that vesalia are selling the Aminet CDs. However they surely are working on the same principle as the PD houses of yester year.... They charge for their time and media, not the content....?

surely the content uploaded to Aminet has not its copyrights or distribution license alienated from the original creators, correct?
not that the creators give the permit to distribute the content in other channels per se, anyway, but i would say that in this case, lacking other info, we have the same exact right (or lack of) as Vesalia to distribute Aminet stuff. |

Hi djp,
I have some Aminet CDs to upload, but I'm not very familiar with the Aminet Sets. Is the Aminet Set 1 equivalent to Aminet CDs 1-4, as far as you know? And which other Aminet Sets have you got? I don't want to start duplicating your uploads. prowler |

aminet sets contains same material as single cds plus some new stuff
from set 10 they are the same as single cds (in fact these cds are labeled aminet 36-39 instead of set10a,set10b etc) i have them all from 1 to 10. |

djp post all the cover scans for these to a file upload site or similar. Then post the link to them here.
And maybe include some other cd cover disc scans you have |

Thanks for the information, dgp!
@exoticaga, Aminet CD cover scans are not worth the hassle, IMO. There really isn't much useful information on them, you know. |

Also, it would be handy to have a booklet-style insert giving details of the contents, or at least the latest additions/updates included. I have some .lha archives of listings I found on the net which would help with this. |
