EAB/Lemon Super League 2019 Round 2 Game Vote: Games reviewed in AMIGA JOKER mid 1992

EAB/Lemon Super League 2019 Round 2 Game Vote: Games Reviewed in issues 27-29 of the AMIGA JOKER
Starts: 12:01 January 13th Finishes: 11:59 January 27th

Rules

Full rules are here.

Vote for five games.

Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt.

This is the first theme round of the season. You can only vote for games within the specified subject. In this round, we are playing suitable games that were reviewed in issue 27, 28 and 29 of the German Amiga Joker magazine. This covers full-price and Public Domain games, but no re-releases, "classic tests" or AGA-conversions of OCS/ECS-titles.

Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon.

If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify.
The winner of Round 1 has double voting power for Round 2. (1 = 10 points, 2 = 8 points etc). However, because the voting for the next round ends before the current round ends, players must place their votes and wait for the current round to end to see who will have their vote doubled.

Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here.

You can see the index of reviews for these magazine on AMR here (excluding PD games which are listed in the 'Other' tab) - Issue 27 (May '92), Issue 28 (June/July '92), Issue 29 (August/September '92)

I think Jim Power is not an option because there's no way to take a screenshot of your score. The game ends and very quickly the screen fades out and the game doesn't keep your score anywhere, unfortunately.

Bad links for Issue 28 & 29. You linked to Amiga Power Issue 35 (March 1994) & Amiga Power Issue 36 (April 1994).
Correct links : Amiga joker Issue 28 (June - July 1992) & Amiga joker Issue 29 (August - September 1992)

^ Fixed - thank you!

@Shatterhand: Had to remove Risky Woods from the list of games for Round 2 since we've already played it in 2013. Please change this to another game!

Yeah that's why Graham didn't allow it. We're trying to make more games eligible now.

Posting scores BEFORE you actually die is no big deal. I've even done it a few times myself over the last few rounds, in situations where I knew I couldn't go any further.

For me, the spirit of the competition is all about playing the best games, not about only playing those games which fit into convenient scoring structures.
You can pause the game at any point with 'P' so the highest score that you can get a screenshot of is your score - simple as that!

Oh well, I tried to vote for Jim Power in another year and I had to pick another game because of it.

So, since I have to remove Risky Woods... here comes my new vote:

1-Jim Power
2-Striker
3-European Football Champ
4-John Barnes European Football
5-Tennis Cup II

6 days left to vote ('til Sunday noon).

Chances are high that we won't play another racing game next round.

I'd say I was going to start practicing Jim Power, as I haven't played it for a while.

But my Amiga is packed, I am moving between houses, I hope it doesn't take too long.

Voting's over. Here are the results:

1. Jim Power ... 25pts
2. Jaguar XJ 220 ... 22pts
3. MYTH: History in the Making ... 20pts
-------------------------------------------
4. Deliverance ... 16pts
4. Super Tetris ... 16pts
6. Project-X ... 15pts
7. Ugh! ... 14pts
8. Crazy Cars III ... 13pts
8. Locomotion ... 13pts
10. Fire & Ice ... 11pts
11. Alienworld ... 10pts
12. Civilization ... 9pts
13. The Addams Family ... 9pts
14. Links ... 8pts

So because of double voting power (which comes into play next Sunday) another racing game - Jaguar XJ 220 - is still a possibility after all. capehorn, kkgarbod, MikeyG or Parpala would have to win Indianapolis 500 for this to happen.
And should arcanist win the current round we'd play MYTH - History in the Making.
Otherwise the game for Round 2 will be JIM POWER.
