I'm quite surprised by this

phx has made many cool / fun games such as:

... Solid Gold
... Sqrxz
... Sqrxz 2
... Sqrxz 3
... Sqrxz 4

If you enjoy any of these you should donate here...

People like this need our support

Re: Donations... from the PMs / e-mails received today, I had the following comments from alpine9000 and Tsak:

He does the music for probably 75% of new Amiga titles and I think he could really use the support.

He goes by the name Saimon69 here at EAB.
I'm a good guy and support all Amiga heroes

...so out of my own money (i.e. not from various donations related to my project), I will donate £50 to Saimon69 also.

@Simone; thank you for all your continued work

Please send me your PayPal details so I can make this happen

You are a credit to the Amiga community my friend DamienD, thank you for all you have done here and continue to do.

I made a few slight changes to the config for Payback which may help others, I changed the 'CPU Emulation speed' to 'Fastest possible', and for Game Ports, I changed Port 2 to "Controller (gamepad for Xbox 360)" and set it to 'CD32 pad'.

With those changes, on my setup, it's very playable indeed now. I don't know, on other systems it may end up being too fast, and I realise not everyone would be using an Xbox 360 controller, but I thought this may help someone else out there.

I have not got around to writing up something and taking screen captures and videos to put on my web site, but I most certainly will.

For me the game runs very well with the original settings I made; and if I change to 'Fastest possible' then it's way too fast...

It really does depend on your own computer

personally speaking you Damien and the others who help the community must be considered as a fair example of how to run and keep alive a retrogaming "world"....
really really thanks for all!!

Yeah, of course. Considering what my rig is - an AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition, overclocked to 3.6GHz - it's surprising it can even be playable at fastest possible, hahaha. I'll update to something from this decade one day.

Hello, I was browsing the list and checking the games against the ones I either loved when I was younger, or those I always wanted to play but never did.

I think you are missing:
1. Legend of the Sword, The (prequel to Final Battle) http://hol.abime.net/863
2. Scapeghost - http://hol.abime.net/1841
3. Knight Orc, Gnome Ranger, Gnome Ranger II (in fact I think you may be ommitic text adventures on purpose actually...)

Yeah, not a massive fan of "text" adventure games to be honest...

...but there are a few in there:

a) Fish!
b) Ooze: Creepy Nites
c) Pawn, The

I do love adventure games though; stuff made by LucasArts / LucasFilm / Accolade / Sierra etc...

Edit: I will add Legend Of The Sword though as when a game is part of a series I always add everything in

It is hard for me to comprehend how you could justify attitude that DamienD have authority over this collection. It is all publicly available material. Yes, DamienD did spent some time in collecting and organizing stuff but it is already publicly available and it is not right to ask some money for it!
He should spread it freely, or kept it for himself. Why do you think that he have now rights to choose who will and who will not get this? Because he spent "ten" years on sorting free stuff?!?
