Needing help with installing os3.9 wiht 2 harddrives, cdrom and buffered 4way ide

Ok after installing my 3.1 kickstart roms in my A1200 I decided to install os 3.9.

It all went wrong and I wont go into that.

So this is where I am at, at the moment. I have the buffered ide inetrface plugged in with a HDD and cdrom attached to Port 0.

I have 1 HDD with a plain workbench 2.1 install and another with a bothced 3.9 install.

The idea was to use the HD with 2.1 as a basis for installing os3.9. I have installed idefix 97 (reg version) and tried to set up the cdrom with it and have failed. It all works because the amiga had a good workbench 3.0 setup using a cdrom.

I need someone to give me a clear guide, step by step, about how to just get os 3.9 on my system.

I can wipe the HDDs or whatever just tell me what to do.

Cool ill try and get the cdrom setup again.

EDIT: Got the cdrom working, i didnt realise I wasnt fully completing the idefix install and therefore it wouldnt mount the cd.

Now trying to install os3.9 again....

EDIT #2: Ok got os3.9 installed with a working cdrom

Now can anyone suggest some nice icons?
