Check out this 1997 invoice for Toaster etc

Received a bunch of Amiga paraphernalia from a gentleman recently who was into video editing for many years starting in the early 90s.

This bill was in there and struck me, especially the line for a large hard drive.
He had everything in his Amigas until the call of Mac got him.

That's weird. That's way past the time we were selling those still.

That's not really that bad compared to what professional video equipment costed back then!
A Panasonic MX-50 alone would have probably been around $2000
