Gui bug - JIT + 24 Bit (?)
I think I might have found a very minor bug in the CPU and FPU panel.
There seems to be an "inconsistency" in the interplay between JIT and 24 bit adressing check boxes. Starting with both checkboxes unchecked. If I first enable JIT, and then enable 24bit adressing, JIT stays on. The JIT checkmark is greyed out but still checked, and it behaves like JIT is on. If I first enable 24 bit adressing, then I cannot enable JIT anymore, because it is greyed out. |

JIT<>non-JIT compatible mode switching on the fly isn't really supported.

I did check it only on-the-fly I will double check the actual emulation behaviour tonight by switching gui buttons before starting winUAE.
Just from a GUI point of view, though, for consistency, I would think that the JIT button should become forcibly unchecked as well as grayed out whenever 24 bit adressing is being enabled, to indicate JIT+24 bit adressing is not supported simultaneously? Or is it? WAAAAH. Last edited by rsn8887; 29 October 2008 at 16:11. |
