It's... Guess The Screenshot: August 09

Rules:

1). Only 1 screenshot post at a time

2). Winner is the only person who can post screenshots OR they can nominate another member.

3). Screenshots must be from Amiga (Obviously) games only

4). Screenshots can have a minimum shot size of 60x60 pixels (NOT ZOOMED/RESIZED). This also includes ensuring WinUAE is setup correctly. Please ensure that you select a screensize of 320x200/256, Line doubling is off and lo-res is ticked.

5). Ridiculous shots (i.e not legible as a game) will be removed and the previous screenshot poster can have another go

6). Screenshot must be from a COMMERCIAL or well known PD release and can be from any part except the cracktro etc..

7). 5 Points for a correct answer, 1 point per day for the poster if his screenshot is not guessed (point is awarded after 24 hours from when the screenshot was posted)

8). League table will be kept in the post directly after this one

9). Anyone posting screenshots when it's NOT their go will lose a point and the post deleted.

10). If a new game isn't posted within 24 hrs of getting the answer confirmed correct then the player forfeits their go and the previous player chooses who is next..

11). Only one guess per person per hour UNLESS somebody else guesses within that hour AND the poster has to say whether it is/isn't correct.

12). Have fun

Any rule breaks will result in the go being disqualified and a point deducted from score.

i don't see the problem, as long the grabs are not resized: we have played already with games that have not screenshots in HOL.

but if there's some reason not to use the ones from Lemonamiga specifically...

@!?@#!(*! I spent 3 hours watching that movie! There are a lot of books mentioned in it! I finally figured it out! Then he gave it away while I was writing the final answer! What is the point of giving clues if you will just give the answer away before we have time to solve the riddle??

Well thats a little unfair then isn't it? Because I already looked at Plexu and the screenshot wasn't there on HOL... it can get to ridiculous having to look at more than a couple of sites.

sorry i don't agree: almost half, 2937, games on HOL have no screenshot (of those, 444 haven't the database's screenshot either), and any game is more than just one screenshot in graphic worth.

the rules give the specs to take a screenshot yourself, so HOL is (rightly, imho) not a given.

[edit] on the other hand, i agree that the quiz should not be punitive either. but so far, the % of games with no HOL picture from me or from other players has been little, and the game balanced with hints too.

Marco's hint about the movie was ok. It was good enough for me to solve the puzzle. But his other hints I was like "WTF?" Month of the year? What? How does that factor into the answer? Engineer?

If nobody can figure out my screenshot I have plenty of good interesting clues that are logical and solvable. I hope nobody knows the pic as the clues are more fun than the pic.
