Teams English Missing

In the latest WHDLoad v2.2 update of Sensible World Of Soccer all
english teams are missing (there is only Arsenal).
Only in the first version of Sensible World Of Soccer (En-De) are the
teams present, in all the others not.
In the previous one there are, the 2.1.
(RETROPLAY update).

Hmm, that's odd.
All I did was update the slave and readme in the archives, nothing else.

Please don't tell me I have to reinstall the lot of them from scratch.

Nope, reinstalled SWOS v1.1 (SPS 0201) for test, same thing, only Arsenal is present.

Its an odd one because the original SWOS does have all the teams its just all the other versions that are broken.

2023 edition (ADF and WHD) is complete of all English championship

I tried reinstalling European Champions Edition (SPS 1825) and same thing, only Arsenal is selectable.

I downgraded all preinstalled games back to v2.1 for now.
The file "GALAHAD.ROOT" is auto-generated first time game is launched.

Thanks for adding this bug to the list. I've unpacked and checked the SWOS2 file with an editor but couldn't find anything wrong with the league setup.

Weird one. Something else must have been broken during installation of 2.2!

Ah yes, that's right.
Added these two back as v2.2, the rest remain at v2.1.
This is as good as it gets until issue is resolved.

Tested! Bugs found:

1) Both are missing a SAVE folder. They both will crash as soon as you try to save anything (career, DIY...).
SAVE folder has to be created manually.

2) Both crash if you try to load CUSTOMS.EDT

3) Both have the same graphic glitches when you load a custom tactic!

Both should be reverted to 2.1, too... (until bugs are fixed)

I'll downgrade these two back to 2.1 again.

Went back 2.1, save is fine but "load old competition" locks up the game.

v2.2, save folder is present but "CUSTOMS.EDT" is created and saved in root directory, not in save folder.
Can't load it from root or Save folder (when moved).

Nope, I'll leave this for now as is until bugs are ironed out.

There is no save folder in those lha archives. Just a dead 0kb file named "save".

It's there, you need to unpack lha on Amiga or emulated Amiga in Workbench.

If you use 7zip/WinRAR or whatever Windows application, it screws up and ignores the empty data folder.
As I have said multiple times before, always unpack Amiga side to make sure file and folder integrity remains intact.

OK! Question is... on Windows, why do the other folders extract fine (sound, data, grafs) and save does not? Because it's empty?
