transdisk error after receive from pc
hi, i have build an serial connection and have typed in amiga basic the listing to receive the transdisk.
all is fine, in the Ramdisk i can see the transdisk. but now,when i want to start the transdisk, the error message: Unable to load transdisk: file is not an objekt module... Can anybody help me please... I have no idea!!! I have a a500 with a workbench 1,3:Extras, and 1MB Ram!!! |

Check the file with the List command. The protection bits must read RWED. If they don't, corect it with protect ram:transdisk rwed. If the bits are correct, the serial transmission has failed. Reduce the baud rate and double-check if the serial settings are the same on both ends. Make sure you're using hardware handshaking aka CTS/RTS (and that the serial cable supports it i.e. has wires on the corresponding lines). Bye, Thomas |
