rawadf tool for manipulating extended ADFs

Hi,

I have written a small tool for manipulating extended (or raw) adfs created with tools like rawread (http://www.aminet.net/package/disk/bakup/rawread). Among other features it is capable of merging two partial images together.

I would be greatful for any help anyone could give me in testing the tool before I release it to a wider audience.

Hi Redwood,

my God...! This is wonderful!
I'm going to test it ASAP.

Massimo
P.S. just a curiosity: would it be possible for you to write a simple DOS/Win version?

I've attached a win32 binary.

The source code is included in the archive (both the lha and the zip) and is written in ANSI C, so you should be able to compile it with any ANSI compliant C compiler. I've compiled it on an (emulated) Amiga and Linux. EAB forum member xaind has tried it on Mac OSX.

Let me know how it goes.

I intend to include the attached "faq.txt" file in the archive. It answers precisely this question.

Redwood,

rawadf is exactly the tool I dreamed of when dumping some protected floppies!
It's the perfect complement to RAWREAD.
I'll try the Win32 version ASAP.
