parnet help needed

ok, i,ve managed to connect my cdtv to my 1200 successfully via parnet and can access the root of the cd no problem. To do this i enter

mount net:

then

net: cd0

but what i want it to do is mount the network automatically on boot then be able to view any cd i put in by clicking on the icon (at the moment it says "please insert volume ..... in any drive" is this possible ? basically i would like it to act like the cd is connected to the 1200

please bear in mind i am very ,very rusty

I`m sure its possible but for the life of me I can`t remember how to do it, I had lots of fun with parnet back when

what I would do for now is put those 2 lines in the user-startup in s:

then look into refining the mount cmd incase the other computer is`t switched on

There is 'mount defer' or something like that.

I think that may help you out.

Ok , thanks for the replys , so now have got network too automatically start by editing user startup all well and good

But i still cant get it too open cds properly, i have come across a lttle program in the parnet folder called defsysdisk which im guessing may be the key but there is no docs for it

anybody come across this ?
