Problems with Dat Files

i have some problems with Dat files

every game misses zip.file
but every other file is unneeded

for example

what is going wrong?

KG change the dat file a while ago so it only looked at the zipfile not the contents which is why it's telling you you have unneeded files.

If the files aren't stored in the original zips that you downloaded clrmame won't recognise them.

One day he might discover torrentzip so everyone can create zips with the same crc.

but i have this datfile from his homepage and only zipped files in my directory

seems like clearmame unzipped them in memory before checking

if you uncheck roms in the scanner it should be fine.

With Roms checked it looks for things inside the zip files.

If you had a zip containing another zip it would be fine.

i searched for a zip option but i haven"t noticed it was "roms"
