So I tried to beat round 17 with no power ups but couldn't with 5 lives, so I stuck some Dan Terminus on in the background and managed it. I still think it needs speeding up though.

Getting there boys and girls. Hiscore menu all done barring the audio.

Here's a video of several updates in the game...

Rounds 1 through 22 completed... rounds 23-27 to do.
All weapons now honoured.
All special bonuses honoured (apart from the tribesman - cos I forgot)

The game is now quite stable, the corruption bug in the previous releases was caused by the disk armour routine. I'll explain it...Rygar has a circular up attack which is 26 frames and a left and right attack which is 28 frames. If the player moved from a left or right attack to a circular attack after frame 26 it would end up getting frames from no mans land and blitting shit all over memory. I eventually got to the bottom through some some pretty deep canaries in the code and memory.

Well, the game will be ready for release in a few weeks...however as I'm off to Germany (I know but this is an English board??) in October for Amiga 34 I've decided to release it there. I'm thinking about setting a challenge for the day with the winner hopefully receiving something quite exclusive and limited (something kinda 3d, rectangular.... card boardy feel with a floppy disk) - just an idea though.

Here's a vid of rounds 1-10, you'll see I've got a training installed...so I can press F1 to F6 for extra powers and lives.

I've made sure Hipoonios won't finish this with one life that's for sure.

Oh I've finished the Arcade version via MAME using cheats; impossible without, or throwing loads of quarters at it "back in the day"

...but as mentioned; have never seen any tigers or pterodactyls

Hi mcgeezer,

Have you considered this flyer be modified (easy to remove all foreign text and overlay English), let me know what dimensions you need), oh and slightly enhance the scan.
