Question I need an official version of Cannon Fodder! The cracked version can't save!

Hola Amigos!

I'm new here but I'm rather old with the amiga scene. I recently downloaded an ADF file for cannon fodder, then using amiga explorer, transfered it onto amiga disks.

So the problem I have here is, when I save the game, the amiga freezes, then that horrible software failure guru meditation screen appears. So in other words, I can't save the game, I can't load an old game and i'm not going to use cheats!

So could someone pointme towards an uncracked version of Cannon Fodder? Ya know, a one without that stupid Crystal cracker screen at the start! Because I think that is the problem.

THANKS LOADS IN ADVANCE!

(P.S. Either send me a link to it or send it via e-mail... ben_anderson6@hotmail.com Thanks again)

check out planetemu.net!

afaik the cracks work fine.. you might have gained an error in the transfer.

Try it with WinUAE first

I have tried with win UAE. works fine, and i've transfered it twice! Might be the disks. Should I worry when after transfering the adfs the amiga says " Error validating disk. Checksum Error 880"?

I might get a fresh batch of disks and try on them. the disks I am using ar PC Disks and they are quite old.

yeah it sounds like a transfer or disk problem!

I never remember any of the cracks I had ever had saving problems!

I had a good long look at every little aspect that could of went wrong. The structure on the save disk was corrupt, and when the amiga tried to read it, it frooze and crashed. You would think it would just say 'corrupt disk, insert new disk' or somthing along those lines now wouldn't ya.
