there is no disk 2
well i think i had it but it was identified by the tosec dats as belonging to a different xenon 2 set when i scanned them

with multidisk games were all the disks copyprotected or was it normally just the 1st disk?

well it is disk 1 of 2, why i asked about copy protection on multidisk games though is because

Xenon 2 - Megablast (1989)(Bitmap Brothers)[cr BS1][t +3 BS1][h DeeJay 99](Disk 2 of 2)

could also just as easily be Xenon 2 - Megablast (1989)(Image Works)[Cr Paranoimia](Disk 2 of 2)

should disks 2 3 4 etc be named this way just because they may have been downloaded together are they necessarily part of the same cracked version?

good question, i like to make sure that if i get a 2 disk game etc, i have the disk 1 and disk 2 of the same release, only because i'm fairly sad, i suppose....

however, alot of the disk 2s are duped by TOSEC

i.e.

another game [19xx] [another company] - disk 1
another game [19xx] [another company] - disk 2

and...

another game [19xx] [another company] [a] - disk 1
another game [19xx] [another company] [a] - disk 2

but no problem, thanks for the full intro version of Xenon 2 anyway!

At any rate, the version posted to the Zone is non-TOSEC, for you scorekeepers. What is in the TOSEC dats (amongst others) is:

Xenon 2 - Megablast (1989)(Bitmap Brothers)[cr Paranoimia][b].zip

I haven't even looked at it, so I dunno if it's disk 1, disk 2, 1-disked, or what. It does have the [b] flag, though. I'll just up it to the Zone.

Ian: The TOSEC discussion that crept up can be continued HERE, it's a worth while subject and doesn't deserve to be lost in just another request IMO, hope you don't mind

I have made an mp3 of the music from the intro, I could upload it to the zone if anyone wants it

Update:// Whoops, seems I deleted too much of this thread, sorry, at least BippyM has 2 versions of the "intro" now.

you can get the title music as a mod from lot's of places, use modtracker to convert to mp3, aswell as take up Ian's generous offer

and

@Ian
-what size is your mp3, if it's above 2mb the zone can't take it

It's about 5mb, but I can span the zip file and upload it, if people really want it

I recorded it at 192kb's a second, say the word and I'll upload it.
