The Town with no Name - Native Install possible ?

Hi Folks; i know it´s bonkers, but is there a way to install
The Town with no Name without WHDLOAD ?

The game is hilariously bad but the Constant BLACK SCREENS of the WHDload version are pretty annoying, so i tried to run it native on my HD but it gets stuck on the first screen.

I mounted all devices like the CDTV CD Startup-Sequence and the Folder on my HDD as CD0:

Nothing. Does it need the Bookmark.device ?

Any Ideas guys ? Would be awesome and fun.

Yeah it's a no go, but to be expected...

I got this far:

Really if you want to play CDTV titles, besides using WHDLoad, then there are 2 options:

a) Use an emulator such as WinUAE and emulate a CDTV.
b) Purchase / use a real CDTV.

You do know that this game also has audio tracks?

You won't get these via WHDLoad or any other method besides the 2 above listed options.

Same here. Stuck on the On-Line Screen. No Alert but stuck here.
I guess i stick to the WHDLoad version to play on real hardware
or use WinUAE when i am at the Computer.

I know that there are audiotracks that have speech but seriusly, it is better without,
even if the are hilarious - but the speech cuts off & stuff, so....

The Game has subtitles anyway
