Just an info on my collection

There are two .txt files inside it

Well, you can simply delete them after the download

Indeed these two files ("Notes.txt" and "Scanned.txt") are there ONLY for backup purpose

For the collection itself these files are irrelevant

That's all

can you try to use at least the differential archive with 7zip for next updates :
make a big 7z of your current folder, then when you want to make an update, use :
Code:
7z u c:\archive.7z c:\archive_folder -ms=off -mx=9 -t7z -u- -up0q3r2x2y2z0w2!c:\newsDATE.7z
we'll just need the newsDATE.7z to download

after news.7z archive done, delete archive.7z and make a new archive.7z (what you do each time)

I totally agree with this, I've stopped downloading as I'm sick of having to download such a big archive everytime!

EAB/FTP needs a rule
"Upload updates only!"

It's such a big waste,
shortens lifespan of hardware,
uses wasteful energy.

.....luckily we have more earths next door.

last chance - update for Dummy :
in your ADA directory, make a directory called NEW
copy the new entries (with dir) in NEW directory
when you want to make an update, zip the NEW directory only,
then cut the content of NEW directory and copy it into ADA directory
you have your update archive...

yep, I waste my time...

The easiest way is to create DAT file with Clrmamepro. This tool will create nice update pack with few seconds.

Sorry guys, but ADA will not be released with update packs

I don't like this kind of solution, as simple as that

Meanwhile another release is uploading

As usual more files are contained in this version, exactly 14.699 for a total size of 3,30 GB

Enjoy the collection
