Nah, it's more of a case of me used to running it at 68000 speeds. I played it so much with the 68K that anything else seems too fast!

Weird. I discovered how to do startrekking, also found the trophy that belongs to it, but after completing a game, startrekking is not tagged At least I killed 4 enemy by one bomb, discovered how to do mountain climbing in level 6, got trophy weapon upgrade and found another secret passage. My total points achievement is only 59 percent, though :-/

Also - did anyone try to do level 2 in reversal direction (clockwise, go to right)? I would like to know if it is possible, I cant get through the second screen, even using grenades.

Hi Predseda,
Well done. Did you manage to get on the platform that says 'StarTreking'? It's not enough just to see it. You need to then pick up the Health icon, and boom, the big Trophy should pop out.

As for level 2 reversal direction, you can not (but nice try ). I disabled the grenade jumping for that screen to stop people taking a short cut to kill the UFO.

You do get a lot more % for finishing levels without dying. The harder the achievement, the more % you get.
Happy you still playing.

Hi, yes, I got to that platform and collected everything I found there, I am not sure if the golden trophy there is collectable, though. I think it is the kind of trophy that just appears, the same style as that for lev 5 mountain climbing. I then jumped down to another star and then fell down (missed the last "stair" star), but I think it shouldn't matter. Or is it needed to complete startrekking by using all of those still stair stars?

BTW: is it possible to go clockwise in level 2 in original version of AFF, or you disabled grenade jumping there also in the past?

hmm, you got me stumped.
I've just gave it an extensive test and all working. Hopefully just a one off. Next time you play, fingers crossed, hope it works for you.

The old version of AFF you could not go clock wise on level 2 too.

hi Predseda, thanks for the screen shot. I can say you have not found it yet. Where you are on that screen shot is only the start of the task at hand. What you now need to do from there on is to trek up the screen using the stars as stepping stones (Star Trekking!!! ).
Try not to slip but .

I did it! I did it! I did startrekking!!!

The price was 4 lives.

I also have completed level 6 mountain climbing.

My total achievement score is now 71 percent.

For startrekking: find The Tower and watch your gunfire, it will help you.

For lev 6 mountain climbing: rocket launcher will help a lot plus you need enough energy and enough grenades.

V1 works fine under WHDLoad, but the new 1.30 has line redraw glitches with my 030, I expect due to caches being enabled. When I walk off screen and back on, these line glitches disappear. Can you fix this for me?
Hi, I notice this thread has dried up a bit, but I just wanted to say the issue with the line redraw glitches was solved as soon as I turned off 'Cycle Exact' on my emulator. I have no idea how this function works but it fixed the screen bugs. I'm now playing v1.31 in case it comes up on the EAB knockout competition; and there's a high chance that it will..

I was just wondering.. is there a way to reset the achievements and high scores? Perhaps by deleting a file?

Yes, run the game. Select 'config menu, then 'Defaults menu'. There you will find options to reset just about everything.

enjoy

wow, lifeschool, thanks for the great video review, I just saw it now.
I liked your on screen drawings of arrows and directions to some of the secret areas.
Thanks for all the complimentary comments .
