Intellectual property of Commodore Amiga anno 2016?
For quite a long time now I have these questions turning around in my head!
Who owns now the intelectual property of the Amiga anno 2016? What implications does it have on us the users? If I split this out than I can have following sub questions: Who owns: - The legacy hardware rights? - The legacy OS 68K and its successors (Aros and Morphos exluded) rights - The Kickstart rights? - The rights for various firmware ROM's from Commodore peripherals? Is it Amiga inc? Is Amiga inc still alive? Or are there more players than Amiga inc only? I know that Hyperion has a license for OS4, but they do not own the rights! From who did they got the license? All the best, Mo |

I just wanna know why no one is selling OS3.9 on CF cards.. not even Cloanto..
Who would "sue" Cloanto if they did? Haage Partner seems to have zero interest in Amiga these days.. Last edited by prowler; 01 September 2016 at 21:23. Reason: Removed direct signature. |

I would like that. Could use the OS 3.9 for my Vampire 2.

If I am not mistaken, HP don't own ALL of Workbench 3.9 - if memory serves there is a lot of licensed components to it.
However a good install of Classic Workbench 3.5 is just as good! |
