Currently waiting for a Rapid road USB clock thingy.
Sadly I missed out on the new A1200 cases but do have 2 sets of replacement key caps on order. I guess no-one knows when the next set of cases will be ready? |

http://amigastore.eu/en/468-brand-ne...new-molds.html There are some costs involved in restarting the production, so to keep the price down you do not want to do it unless you are sure you can sell a good amount and most people who wanted it have probably gotten one from the original batch anyway. I'm still waiting on my cases though, but hopefully it won't be long now. |

Well, I have seen a few sales ads from people reselling their newle acquired cases, although they usually charge a small premium for them seeing as they're not easily available, at least not right now..

Just picked this up off eBay.
Probably the game I played the most back in the day. My favorite was chasing down the cruise missile and shooting it out of the sky. Low altitude, high speed chase fun! Played well on my A4000T with WarpEngine4040 and CyberVision 64/3D. Converted to .adf it plays great on my Amithlon system in E-UAE as well. |

Seimitsu LS-56-01 joystick (it'll arrive tomorrow) and I was supposed to get a pair of flat (MS) mounting plates for my LS-32-01-SC, but there was a screw-up, so I have to get them myself tomorrow.

Having successfully sold some junk I had lying around, I just clicked *order* on a Super Everdrive. Can't wait!

No courier company is perfect, but Hermes appear to have a habit of doing that - it happened to me and my wife recently. We ordered some pillows, Hermes said they were delivered and signed for (they weren't), so the company wouldn't entertain any complaints. Eventually got the money refunded after we said we would get onto the credit card company. I guess they knew they'd lose the money once it reached the card company, but I'm sure they still believe we got the delivery and were pulling a fast one.
Anyway, my most recent purchase is my first big-box Amiga, an A2000 I picked up locally for a good price. Fully loaded with a Blizzard 2060, Kickstart 3.1, Picasso IV, Ariadne, GVP SCSI card, Catweasel/Buddha combo and Multiface 3. Quite the setup! It also included about 20 years of tar and nicotine in a generous coating over all components, and a very nice but yellow keyboard (red caps lock LED) with a few dead keys. So far, the floppy drive has been restored to working after the head motor was totally seized by the gunk coating everything, next I'll sort out a hard drive and set everything up to its former glory. |

I know our local Hermes courier so I always get my deliveries, they sign and put them in a hiding place I have if no one is in

Hermes is absolutely terrible, probably the worst courier I ever had the misfortune to use in the UK. Seems like they put packages in random cars and get shit sent around by amateurs that mishandle every package.

Yeah, it looks like knowing a Hermes driver is possibly the way to go to be safe :/ The company is essentially just an agency for freelance couriers who get paid by the package, so it's hardly surprising the service is terrible. You get what you pay for I guess...

Yes, the person I know who delivers for Hermes uses their own car and is very reliable! The guy from Yodel who delivers to me as well is reliable and puts stuff in a hiding place if needed, never had any missed deliveries.
Chances are the Hermes courier has signed for it and dropped it off with a neighbour or put it in one of your rubbish bins thinking you'll see it when you open it next! |
