Great work guys!! I'd love to see the music from Cinemaware's games there, such as It Came From the Desert, Wings, Lord of the Rising Sun and Defender of the Crown

@Steve

To be honest, I have been editing the mods using OpenMTP (ModPlugTracker)

I have been editing for intro's and sequences to make them more mobile-phone-ringy type tunes. the important part is the length.

Both spanner and myself (and some other forum chummies) argreed that 40sec is a TAD to long for a ringtone, so we kinda unofficially adopted an under 40second ringtones.

I have just finnished with Flashback (18 ringtones!!!),

I wanted to do a proper job in reguards to editing and resequencing. Rapheal Guesta (i doubt i am spelling it right) is a bit of a personal hero to be honnest, and the work he done i didn't want to pervert any old way for just a ringtone, so i tried to keep the faith as it was.

anyway NOW onto Hired guns another favy!

Hired Guns now up and done with 6 tracks designed for mobile phones

I had some difficulty using ModPlug Tracker, as it inturprets some commands differnetly to the native med cmds. its awkward, so the Hired guns ringtone album is missing an intro track :/ any I could go and use medss but i cannot be arse atm,.... immma all ringtoned out today lol so if theres any takers just pop it in the album

as a small note my post count has lost nearly 400 posts LOL (i had over 3000) so I am assuming its down to a level of Off topicness... so its nice to know that I am only 15.36% off topic (theres some i am sure that dont have any posts now LMAO!!!... poor poor Ironclaw.... alas he posted so well LOL)

good question.

how long is the track ? anything more than 40secs is a little long in the ringtone dept. I would also say that Nick and I agreed in a physical size limmit of under 1MB per track.. the Albums will only hold 20MB of data, if you need anymore than that then i can arrange that soo to

Happy

Hey thanks for your efforts guys. Much appreciated. The music to pinball illusions is definitely one of my fave amiga soundtracks. The menu music to pinball illusions is quite long like bip said so I guess it would need to be cut down a bit to be a ring tone. The first 30 to 40 seconds are good for a ring tone.

I can't download any ringtones. Do I have to have login deails?

hmmmm it works here not logged in.... just left click the ringtone icon and you will see the download audio option, from here you can right click and select download and it should work.

Its probably just me being thick. lol. Well it is quite late and my brain isn't really working. The downloaded file is a php and I can't seem to play it using any software. Is that right? Are the files in mp3 format?

theres usually one picture thats the box art for the folder, .. when you click that, theres other files that say "no thumbnail" hit them buttons to get to the songs

I'm pretty happy of the north and south things i did, they're damn good ringtones

I can find the 'download audio' but for some reason thr link doesn't work for me. I've tried it for a few of the listed games. Could it be cos I'm using firefox and not explorer??
