Try looking on xbins thats were I got mine from. Its improved a bit as you can now remove theirs an option to remove the borders so the screen always looks right now, instead of you having to adjust it. You can also use a USB mouse, if he can program that why not a usb joystick?

Xbox's "OS" don't support USB joysticks. Only mice and keyboard.

Does it mean that we'll NEVER be able to use Competition Pro USB on Xbox :/ ?

By the way, Toni... You are probably familiar with XPort releases of WinUAE for Xbox... Are you going to add an optional media-center-style GUI into WinUAE (a full screen, easy readable, graphical interface that could be operated entirely with gamepad, joystick or remote controller)? I mean, a GUI similar to XPort's.
Personally, I do not use MediaCenter PC and/or PC+TVOut, but I am just curious and I think that it could be quite interesting...

I don't have any idea. Only heard rumours you need kernel-level driver to add joystick support and there is no documentation..

No. Keeping two completely differently coded GUIs uptodate will be major PITA. But on-screen disk swapping GUI is possible.

WinUAEX Amiga Emulator port for XBox v10

What's New:

- Possible fix to the infamous Samba bug for some people

- Adjusted LEDs display

Important Notes
---------------

I poked around the Samba code again and saw something that was definitely
a bug. I don't know if this will be the thing that prevents some people
from using Samba, but it definitely fixes something. Please provide
feedback to me on the forums if you test this. I need to know if it's
working when it wasn't, or if it's not working when it was or if there
wasn't any change at all.

EvoX is the name of hacked BIOS (the other commonly used BIOS is called Xecuter). Evolution-X is a dashboard.

Dashboard is the program which is being loaded every time you start your Xbox. Original Microsoft Dashboard allows you to run original game DVDs, play audio CDs, change settings and manage saves. When you have a modchip installed, you may run any application as dashboard. 'Alternative' dashes such as: Evolution-X, Avalaunch or UnleashX, give you the ability to create menus with games/apps/emulators on your HD, play MP3s in background, change very specific settings (like video region), download RSS feeds from Internet and more... They're all fully skinable. You may also use Xbox Media Center directly as a dashboard. Personally, I use old Evolution-X as a my primary dashboard, with ability to launch Microsoft Dashboard, XBMC and UnleashX any time from Evolution-X main menu.

There is a sample screenshot of Evolution-X root menu: http://www2.uk-dave.com/projects/xbo...hot-dash-2.jpg

See previous post.

There are only two ways IPF support will happen on XBox.

1) Somebody donates an XBox devkit (a real one). Considering how much they cost, I can't see this happening.
2) We give him the source code... This won't be happening for some time. I am afraid we are just not ready to open it all up yet.

Sorry

Petee !!

Go with Bippym ....
Im a mod on that board and its unlikely you will find the 2.6 much cheaper !!
I have a modded box myself and to be honest the cheaper Xecutor 2.6 is the better buy if you just want to ....emulate...play backups....watch dvds....play dixvx....in fact there really isnt much extra you can do with an X3

In fact heres my little Tutorial i put up to help newbies like yourself

Yeah X3 is overkill really...

I just got this as when I bought the Xbox I had it chipped by Mr Mod Chip. The price was only £10 - £20 difference so I thought why not
