Interesting. I always found the lingerie section of the Kays catalogue more interesting a young boy. To each their own though.

For nothing but research purposes, I have since discovered that Kays is still going and their lingerie section has improved dramatically since I was 8!

I'm adding nothing at all to this thread, so I shall retire for the evening.

All about the watches in the Argos catalogue. Cheap Casio's that I only ever had, the holy grail of a calculator watch and untold that my dad used to wear.

We are now living a complete retro era. But -now-, not back at the 80's, 70's, 60's... NOW we are Retro. In decadence

Sorry to say this, but I don't remember much from 1985, I was 18 years old and had a life of girls in mini/micro skirts and loads of beer

So while some of you were playing with you electronic gadgetry, I was busy with other things

Mind you, there is stuff in those pages even I remember as a kid, so times didn't really change that much from when Argos first opened it's doors. Nevertheless, great find

I was too young to drink in 1985 so I just wasted time on my C-64. :-D

Ah, page 230. Pac-Man the board game at £6.95. For those whose parents didn't love them enough to buy them an Atari 2600.
