BTW I hate FIFA. I stopped at Fifa 08. Everything is scripted, the cpu always scores a rebound off the goalie it, the game just seems to play the same over and over

Fifa got a lot better in tha last 2 editions. I've always been a PES guy, but at least on 2010 Fifa was the better game. I haven't played PES2011 yet.


And for the original question... it's hard to not say Sensible World of Soccer, as I played this too much in my life.

But I love the Pro Evolution Soccer series, I've been playing it since Goal Storm 97 on PS1, and have played every version of it. The best IMO is PES 2008 on PS2.

Unfortunately Konami dropped the ball in this generation, as the PES games aren't as good as they used to be. But, lik I said, I still have to play PES2011...

Goal 4ever! no matter that I have the FIFA 11 and PES 11 and no matter how much time elapses I return to it again and again.Current games are cool but Goal gameplay remains unbeaten.

Ah yes, PES2011 is a big return to form, imo. Probably my favourite since PES5/6, and probably even better.

FIFA 08 was horrible, but the series has improved more and more with each iteration. FIFA World Cup 2010 was great, and the only reason I haven't bought FIFA 11 yet is because I feel PES is so good this year that I haven't seen the need to get another football game yet.

I play PES on the PC though, since it costs less (I actually pre-ordered it at only £13 on thehut.com) and I buy it every year. Plus it's much easier to sit down and play a game every now and then on the PC than my livingroom (not to mention loading times and easier access to option files).
