I'm trying to set up all the systems i own and have them out instead of being boxed away all the time.... it's proving more difficult than i thought

DC33, sold me a CD-RW,wasn't sure if it worked, or not, it does. Smooth and fast communications, packed to survive Australia Post's gentle package handling scheme.

A pleasure,

Thanks,

Paul

Great news Paul.

Also, I should mention it now that I am here..... Paul had some Retro Amiga magazines up for grabs which I am now the lucky owner of.

Thanks Paul.
Hope the CD does what you want it to, and don't forget to send me a copy...

Hi All,

On 11th January, I purchased an "A1200 with 1230 card and various accessories" from ikorudu in this thread:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=41904

To date, I have still not received the whole package and I have given up any hope of ever receiving the missing items.

If I can't say anything good about someone, then I believe it is probably better to say nothing at all. However, I would like to add some good news: this act appears to have marked his valediction from the Amiga world. At the time of writing, his last visit to EAB was on 2nd March.

Greetings,
I recently purchased a 4Mb stick of GVP RAM from Softhut ( commercial company, not a user here ), not only did they ship it off the same day, but it arrived to me in Australia in about 3 days, if you take Easter out of the equation. First class air mail was $11.

I received an Ariadne network card (and before that a CDTV floppy drive) from mabus. Never got a chance to leave feedback on this thread before now, so here goes.

Both were *excellent* transactions.

Items were as described and worked flawlessly. Mabus packed both items with care, loads of antistatic and foamy material, not even the Spanish postman could break it! Put me in a bit of a shame, as I recalled how little I'd payed him for p&p. He kept in contact before and after the sale making sure everything went well.
To top it all off, he mailed me last week saying he'd found the manual of the Ariadne and would be posting it. Need I say more? Great guy all around.

My only regret is that I left that PicassoIV he was selling in amibay slip away. Hope he has more stuff for sale!

Just hope one day he can afford all the things he`s had to sell

Greetings,
An Acard 7720 arrived today from Paul_S, packaged so that only the cockroaches, Keith Richards and this parcel would survive a direct nuclear strike. A real gentleman, great communicator and true to his word.

Thankyou,

Paul

Greetings,
The other Acard 7720 arrived today from Damion, equally well packaged as the one from Paul_S, including a peculiar little device, used to measure kidney functionality, along with the ability to function as a normal calculator. Another gentleman, good to his word and great communicator, I can highly recommend sales or trades from either.

Thankyou,

Paul

Even more positive, the first stick of RAM I got from Softhut was faulty, so sent it back and got a flash bang, without the flash bang, new stick sent to me. Fitted and tested, thanks Joe

Bought a CF-IDE44 card from Paul_s.

It arrived today by recorded delivery in excellent condition and packaged up so well that it would surely have survived a nuclear blast in transit!

Thanks Paul!

Happy About Overdose

Overdose

Sent me an unwanted and defective Apollo 1240 accelerator (I still haven't managed to get it to work, but I will do sooner or later ) and just asked me for the transportation costs from Australia to my home.

The item was extremely well packaged and I can only show gratitude towards him for offering me his card for free.

Highly recommended and honest person in my opinion.

Very Very Big positive

Thanks a lot, Overdose

It gets better...

Without expectation, I have now received the 'manual' for the card, again very well packaged and in excellent condition. (I didn't even know that these cards came with instructions!)

Thanks again, Paul!
