i better warn you dangerous living people that yes, i have facebook, but i use it to check on with my family only, mostly, so please do not resent if i let down eventual sendings or invitations for facebook applications (i really dislike the most of them).

to the people who aren't sure about facebook, my opinion is that, yes it is a bloated time waster if you let it go out of control, but for the odd flash game or for a little group of people to exchange the random idle chat, it is kinda ok.

as a DJ, facebook is an easy way to contact people about my gigs etc, without the hassle of being disturbed by a messenger program (i really hate MSN).

It also allows me to keep up with my uni mates who i never see, including what gigs they might be playing, attending etc. which is kinda nice.

Using it obsessively, or adding all the application crap is however something i just dont get. I suppose its a bit of novelty for the 'norms'.

anyhoo... i joined the group!

I always thought musicians join MySpace Well at least all those I know did. In germany these school/university 'reunion' sites are quite popular, maybe that's why I loathe them

I've no idea what apps you guys are talking about.

I know that some people use it and I did get invites before, but I try to stay away from all services that gain money on collecting data from me or my friends. (excecpt Google, it seems you have to use it now days, but it is still betterr then Yahoo)

As you guys, who have already joined the existing group, already know, Dizzy left us without an Admin, so basically no one can edit, change, delete spam etc.

Well, there's a new group with all the same pages etc. Only thing I need you guys to do is to join it here http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...d=112372264642 Re-post your 'Who you are' in the discussion board and take anything else along with you that you deem important. All pictures and comments have been re-added where possible, but unfortuanatly I'm not going to reasemble the wall

The Admins of this new group are, TheCyberDruid and myself.

Once you have done all you can, remove yourself from the old group and once the last member has left, the group will be automatically deleted.

Have fun
