How do I go about dumping this version for the SPS guys ?
The updated v2 game already dumped is from "The Greatest Compilation", whereas my game is "stand alone". |

You need a Kryoflux device (PC/Mac/Linux) or the CAPS Dumping tool for use on a real Amiga with an 020 or greater CPU!

I don't have a Kryoflux so the dumping tool is the only option for me, my Amiga do meet the requirements for dumping, Commodore A1200 (not Escom) + 10mb.
If any of you SPS team guys read this then let me know if you want it dumped. The floppy disks work 100%. |

Only SPS can tell you they are 100%, they know!!
Open a ticket on the SPS site offering to dump it, they will let you know if they want it: http://www.softpres.org/contact |

Well done
They should give you a download link to the dumping tool if you don't have it already. I'm lucky enough to own a Kryoflux so have dumped using that!! |

SPS should provide the dumping tool seeing as they coded it, how else can people dump stuff? They provided it for me when they were CAPS, so can't see a reason not to supply it now.

I do have have a handful of originals not sps/ipf'ed.
X-Out, Rainbow Islands & Chase HQ from the Power Up compilation and a few others I can't remember right now . I don't know if they differ from the original retail releases though. If needed you know where to find me. |

Is it possible to play this version with ScummVM? I mean, is the protection removed from the game even if not using the adf or whdload version?
[edit] Ok, the following sounds very lazy, I know, but: can somebody please extract the game files from the NDOS adfs or from the disk-imaged whdload package content of Lure of the Temptress so that I can try it on ScummVM? Or, please tell me how to? The PC vga version graphics and music are a bit dull, and I would prefer not to use Winuae to play it atm. Last edited by Marcuz; 26 November 2012 at 15:39. |

Just ordered one.
Oh btw, I received the SPS dumping tools, did the drive test (looked good to me), sent the info log and never got a response. Anyway doesn't matter now, Kryoflux board will be here soon enough. No, only DOS versions are supported. |

An earlier post seemed to indicate that Galahad had done a re-crack of Version 2, but was waiting on someone to do a cracktro for him. That was quite a while ago. I know he's been kinda busy recently with Putty Squad, but I hope he will release this for everyone interested. This game has been on my list of "Unfinished Amiga Business" for ~20 years. hehehehe

I hope he does release this, it would be cool to have a working version 2 in adf's. I know I can play the game with the WHDLoad version, but I still like messing about with my Amiga 500 with Floppies and the Gotek, so would love a version that doesn't screw up. |

Indeed! I would love an ADF as well, but it seems like Galahad's forgotten about this or doesn't check this forum much these days. I've tried PM'ing him about it, but my messages have gone unanswered.
