The menu opens when you press the "menu_button" on the controller. Many controllers don't have a dedicated menu button, so FS-UAE also listens for "start_button" and "select_button" being pressed simultaneously.

Thank you Frode. That solved my problem.

Apparently the buttons labeled "4" and "5" are the select and start buttons on this "dragonrise" device.

I'll see if I can create a proper controller config file for this device.
