PSPUAE v0.90 News
I know its been a long time, 4 years I think.
I have still been working on it, but slowly. With Horace nudging me gently (over text, imessage, email, PM's), . I pushing alone. Will get there in the end. Changes for PSPUAE UE v0.90 are; Tweaked Compile flags (Increased speed) Compiled with latest toolchain (Increased speed) Dumped FPU code (Increased speed) Dumped 68881 and 040 code (Decreased EBOOT size) Optimised and recompiled CPU cores, blitter and blit code (Increased speed) Add AGA properly (Dont expect any great speeds) - Still having issues with this (not decided yet) Tweak CPU to CHIPSET timeslice (helps make stuff run smoother when using CHIPSET setting) Sign PSPUAE to run on any PSP (hacked or not) - think there will be a signed and non signed PSP's with extra RAM can now use the full amount (phat and early 2000 models, still limited to around 12MB's) non signed / kernel mode can give more RAM z3Fast RAM (allows you use up to 16MB of Zorro III Fast RAM) - on my Go! I can use 32MB, but stuck with 16MB as then your able to use all RAM listed in menu without issue, unless your on original PSP Remove Kickstart ROM checksum check (you can use what ever ROM you want) Remove Serial and BSDSocket support (Increased speed) Tweaked Compiler / target optimisations (Increased speed) Fix CD32 button support / Menu option added (there is still one issue, for some reason e-uae code was written to set CD32 buttons on both pads at same time, very wierd) Tweaked CYCLE UNIT to increase speed (this needs testing though as messing with this can cause blitter to screw up. i.e. Great Giana Sisters, stuck on title screen Planned; Add HDD support (getting closer, have it mounting HDF's, then it resets, ) Integrate FAMEC core as an option |

Ooohh, nice! I haven't used PSPUAE in ages, but it was a really nice emulator (for what the PSP was capable of... the Amiga is quite a demanding machine to emulate!).
Too bad my PSP is hundreds of miles away from me, otherwise I'd get playing with this in a blink |

From which Chui version it is based on ?
I remember when i played with uae4all on arm, the RC3 was giving me quite some improvements compared with previous version... |

uae4all isnt based on anything, its a complete rebuild from the ground up. I wouldn't go comparing ARM to MIPS (especially PSP's 333MHz CPU). |

Any updates? Recently dug out my PSP to play some games I've long missed out on... whilst I search for an Amiga again (current prices are way too much )

Missed this thread, get very little time these days to do the stuff I enjoyed. Its still on my HDD, If I recall I was messing with HDF code. Would be nice to actually get around to fixing it. |

Nearly all v0.90 changes are in the last beta I released. Been a long time since I had a chance to sit down and sort everything. Infact I very rarely use my computer much, still too much going on in real life. |
