About 6 years years or so ago I sold a bundle of two 600 Amigas and a 1200 on ebay, all working and in quite nice condition. They went for £63.

Amazing how much retro prices have shot up since then. Sold some SNES carts back then like Zelda and you'd only get £4 - £5.

No regrets.
Sold my 1000 to buy a 2000 and start my first BBS.
Sold my 2000 to buy a 3000 and scale up the BBS to 3 nodes.
Sold my 3000 to buy a 4000 + CV64 and start getting to know MacOS + Netscape Navigator + surfing the internet + built my first HTML site.
Sold my 4000 to buy a PowerMac 7300 and get into "serious" web development.

Sure, today I would love to have those machines still with me, but if I hadn't sold them at the time, I wouldn't have had the money to buy the next one and move on towards the next goal.

Don't exactly remember what happened to my A1200. I started running my BBS and I presume i must have sold it to buy the A4000. I killed that A4000 and bought another one which I then upgraded to an 040 and continued using it till the very late 90's.

Some years later I finally got a PC and threw the A4000 away (around 2001).

I have an A1200 again now but I keep wondering whether or not to dive back in and get another A4000.

I loved the 4p TMNT arcade game.. went and bought the amiga conversion on day one. Learned a valuable lesson that day.

Worked a bunch of extra shifts to afford a DS8+ sampler.. and then only used it like 4 times.

Regret copying instead of buying Another world, it was an amazing experience. Maybe Éric Chahi would have gone on to create more great games if the sales were better?

Seeing interviews with him, I'm not too sure. He made exactly what he wanted to make I think.

Sold a couple of A600s in beautiful condition to someone on here because I'd never use them.

A few years later the A600 Vampire came out. Damnit.

At least you didn't throw them in the tip, like I did.

Luckily I managed to get another one from eBay - which now has a nice Vampire 600 V2 in it!

My biggest Amiga related regret is probably pirating so many games back in the day - purely because big box retail games don't exist any more, and the originals that I do still own (probably 30-50 big box games) make me feel so nostalgic it's crazy.

I used to love going into Beatties/WHSmiths/Future Zone (aka Game)/Random little game shops and just drooling over the box arts from back then (before sometimes impulse purchasing and feeling gutted when the screenshots on the back of the boxes had been taken from arcade releases, lol). ~memories~

Current regret is that my budget to get a rev6 68060 to do the 80-100 MHz upgrade to my CyberStorm MKII has been reallocated to fixing my truck.

Don't regret. It's just stuff after all. Unless you own a big plot of land you can't be buried with it.

The two A1000s that went to land fill is my biggest what the fuck moment. Also the Amiga Power collection I disposed of when I moved out of home for the first time.
